by October 24, 2023Cinematic is a word for me that describes a certain sonic gravitas, and an approach to story-telling via through-composed structures, character motifs, melody, harmonic texture, orchestration and using space. a score is the invisble hand working its magic to evoke a feeling or emotion in a given moment.
my favourite composers blend elements from all genres to create something new and unique, and my favourite artists all have a vision and voice that is instantly identifiable as their own.

the philosophical, pedagogical, structural, improvisational, traditional and spiritual aspects deeply inform both my music and approach to life.
